CLASSIC WITH STYLE, SIMPLY THE BEST! THE RUNWAYS

When I was asked to do an assignment for my blog of all the runways of Classic with Style, I panicked some. How can my humble photo's show all the glory and wonderful colors that I saw when I went to each to take photo's. I know a photo never tells the whole story of a place ... so I am going to attempt to help with words, which may also not be enough. But I am going to try, so each and everyone looking and reading will get the whole picture.
1. THE BEACH RUNWAY

This runway is set in a beach environment with palms and sea-sand with the shadows of the palms making it look so life like and I am not even talking about the sea. the water moving and looking so inviting. One almost feel like diving into the waves.

The runway is made of wood,giving you a feeling of old-wood and sun bleached by constant sunshine. Both sides of the runway are Tiki huts on poles for dressing-rooms. Wicker chairs line the runway and are comfortable and lovely and also lend a certain flair to the setting, as does the straw umbrellas with chairs under the shady palms. I am sure if you close your eyes you can hear the surf against the poles. Seagulls, the sound of surf, the salty smell of the sea and the wonderful colors of palms and beach and sea all enhancing the setting of this awesome new runway.
2. THE BALLROOM RUNWAY
The next Runway on my list is the Ballroom runway. WOW! So colorful and beautiful. This was the first time that I saw this runway and the steps and runway are all glass in different colors and chrome.
Even against the walls diff colored glass and chrome were used to decorate this beautiful place. The half-moon-like bucket glass chairs is in diff colored glass and this whole place and its atmosphere is glamorous and rich. Really lovely.

3. THE BLACK AND WHITE RUNWAY
AWESOME! That was the first word that came into my mind when I saw this runway. Lovely white and black marble flooring, steps and walkways over a bridge with swans and flamingo on both sides lend a certain richness to this runway.
The marble pillars and scenes on the walls give you a touch of romance in Paris. I love how this whole place was decorated. The lovely black and white chairs and the smaller chairs and tables with their curling legs and backs. This runway is by far the most lovely and definitely my favorite.

4. THE BLUE VENUE
I was so surprised when I landed here. The name made me expect a place decorated in blue. I now realize that the blue may well mean classy and almost ROYAL.
The floors are white marble and the runway in red and gold. The chairs look lovely and rich in gold on the white marble floors and the red carpet running from the reception to the stage is rich in red as well.
What caught my eye and made me draw in my breath was the wonderful ceiling, all in gold like lace. I have no other description other than this place is rich and beautiful and ROYAL.

5. THE DOME RUNWAY
I have been here before and every time I come here I enjoy the atmosphere This runway give me the feeling of mystical faeries. I look at the lovely water fountains and wonder if I will indeed see faeries flying about.
The dome runway are in old gold and white with the seats for the audience in a coppery, gold metal. Rich and glowing. What makes this Dome runway so unique is the way it was build ..like the roman amphitheater ...and the gallery with seating almost give me the feeling of the Royal Theater in London. Now I must immediately say ,,I have never been there, but what I saw in the media gave me that feeling.
I love this Dome runway and have seen models in action here and what an experience that was. WONDERFUL!

6. THE MAIN STAGE / RUNWAY
The Main stage I do know as I have been here at two diff occasions for styling events. This is where the Styling events are held 3 times a week.
This runway is also in white, which can be marble, and its round off on the sides with a wood finish. The carpets on the floors around the stage or runways are a rich deep almost maroon color. the floors where the audience seating's are located has a olive copper color and makes the lovely and intricately designed chairs stand out. I looked at the chairs and the wood are decorated with gold on them. Absolutely lovely.

7. THE PAGEANT RED RUNWAY
This runway I well remember as this was where it all started for me and my dreams to become a model here in SL. I was invited by a friend to attend the Ms Sophisticated pageant. This changed my whole life.
The runway start with steps from back stage in gold down onto a golden relief walkway with rich deep red brocade, which shines at different angles in the light at the sides.
The seating for the audience is the same almost coppery golden metal chairs, like in the Dome.
This place is awesome and the walls are lined with rich dark red brocade curtains all around. This place is really really awesome.
