     When I was asked to do an assignment for my blog of all the runways of Classic with Style, I  panicked some.   How can my humble photo's show all the glory and wonderful colors  that I saw when I went to each to take photo's.  I know a photo never tells the whole story of a place ... so I am going to attempt to help with words, which may also not be enough.  But I am going to try, so each and everyone looking and reading will get the whole picture.

 1.  THE BEACH RUNWAY

     This runway is set in a beach environment with palms and sea-sand with the shadows of the palms making it look so life like and  I am not even talking about the sea. the water moving and looking so inviting.  One almost feel like diving into the waves.

     The runway is made of wood,giving you a feeling of old-wood and sun bleached by constant sunshine.  Both sides of the runway are Tiki huts on poles for dressing-rooms.   Wicker chairs line the runway and are comfortable and lovely and also lend a certain flair to the setting, as does the straw umbrellas with chairs under the shady palms.  I am sure if you close your eyes you can hear the surf against the poles.  Seagulls, the sound of surf, the salty smell of the sea and the wonderful colors of palms and beach and sea all enhancing the setting of this awesome new runway.

 2.  THE BALLROOM RUNWAY

     The next Runway on my list is the Ballroom runway.  WOW!  So colorful and beautiful.  This was the first time that I saw this runway and the steps and runway are all glass in different colors and chrome.

     Even against the walls diff colored glass and chrome were used to decorate this beautiful place.  The half-moon-like bucket glass chairs is in diff colored glass and this whole place and its atmosphere is glamorous and  rich.  Really lovely.

 3.  THE BLACK AND WHITE RUNWAY

     AWESOME!  That was the first word that came into my mind when I  saw this runway.  Lovely white and black marble flooring, steps and walkways over a bridge with swans and flamingo on both sides lend a certain richness to this runway.  

     The marble pillars and scenes on the walls give you a touch of romance in Paris.  I love how this whole place was decorated.  The lovely black and white chairs and the smaller chairs and tables with their curling legs and backs.  This runway is by far the most lovely and definitely my favorite.

 4.  THE BLUE VENUE

     I was so surprised when I landed here.  The name made me expect a place decorated in blue.   I now realize that the blue may well mean classy and almost ROYAL.

     The floors are white marble and the runway in red and gold.  The chairs look lovely and rich in gold on the white marble floors and the red carpet running from the reception to the stage is rich in red as well.  
     
     What caught my eye and made me draw in my breath was the wonderful ceiling, all in gold like lace.  I have no other description other than this place is rich and beautiful and ROYAL.

5.  THE DOME RUNWAY

     I have been here before and every time I come here I enjoy the atmosphere   This runway give me the feeling of mystical faeries.  I look at the lovely water fountains and wonder if I will indeed see faeries flying about.

     The dome runway are in old gold and white with the seats for the audience in a coppery, gold metal.  Rich and glowing.  What makes this Dome runway so unique is the way it was build ..like the roman amphitheater ...and the gallery with seating almost give me the feeling of the Royal Theater in London.  Now I must immediately say ,,I have never been there, but what I saw in the media gave me that feeling.

     I love this Dome runway and have seen models in action here and what an experience that was.  WONDERFUL!

6.  THE MAIN STAGE / RUNWAY

     The Main stage I do know as I have been here at two diff occasions for styling events.  This is where the Styling events are held 3 times a week. 

     This runway is also in white, which can be marble, and its round off on the sides with a wood finish.  The carpets on the floors around the stage or runways are a rich deep almost maroon color.  the floors where the audience seating's are located has a olive copper color and makes the lovely and intricately designed chairs stand out.  I looked at the chairs and the wood are decorated with gold on them.  Absolutely lovely.

7.  THE PAGEANT RED RUNWAY 

     This runway I well remember as this was where  it all started for me and my dreams to become a model here in SL.  I was invited by a friend to attend the Ms Sophisticated pageant.  This changed my whole life.

    The runway start with steps from back stage in gold down onto a golden relief walkway with rich deep red brocade, which shines at different angles in the light at the sides.

     The seating for the audience is the same almost coppery golden metal chairs, like in the Dome.

     This place is awesome and the walls are lined with rich dark red brocade curtains all around.  This place is really really awesome.

     This was my way of describing all the diff runways.  Sometimes words are just not enough to describe a place and its loveliness ..so hopefully the photo's will help to show off the rich colors and styles.  They are all very lovely places.  As I said in the beginning ..photos do not always show all the detail and words may help ..but best to see them for yourself.  So please come and experience the glitter and glam when Classic with Style have  events on ..you will love it!

     Finals!  I can hardly believe that the last 3 weeks went so fast.  Its like yesterday when class started.  Felt so green and also like I know nothing, which was actually the case cause about modeling and runways I knew nothing. ZERO!

     I have to add, even though I know something now, I still need to learn a lot and walking the runway  is practice, practice and PRACTICE, like all our awesome trainers kept repeating time after time.

  

      What can I say about our awesome teachers.  Janet and Vicky and Lisana, you were there for us all the way.  I could not have done this without your help. THANK YOU.

     I also want to thank the owners of Classic with Style, Sunrae Suntzu and Kiralyn Destiny, for this wonderful environment where we could learn and practice.

     This is a dream of mine becoming a reality and I still want to pinch myself to make  sure I am not dreaming all this.

     The new Beach stage is located in this very beautiful environment of palms and beach sand and sea.  So absolutely awesome and what better place to showcase the  really beautiful swimwear and skins by Ms Cristal Treillis.

     Ms Lisana Rossen was Show Director and introduced  the new owners of Classic with Style, Ms Sunrae Suntzu and Ms Kiralyn Destiny.  We all are really excited for all the wonderful new changes of which this new stage and beach environment, is the first.  CWS is also celebrating their 5th Anniversary.  Congratulations CWS!

     The skins and shapes showed by the models showcase the versatility of  Ms Cristal Treillis. 

One of the greatest designers in Second Life.  The models of CWS did a wonderful job with the modeling of the swimwear and skins and shapes.

     After the show five Video Models were selected from the audience.  They each received a skin which they modeled and all wear swimwear for the video.

     We all stayed for the beach party and music was done by DJ Wildrose.  A contest  for best in beachwear with a give-away price of 5000L$ were part of the party.  What a shame that my time schedule did not allow me to stay very long.  Smiles.  Some you win ... some you lose.

     I took part in this styling event and was a really wonderful experience to try Styling an event for the second time.

     

     Practice is what I need most and it was a very good opportunity to learn once more what not to do.  

     I was so excited when I came 2nd, but most of all what counted was the scorecard so I could see what to do better next time.  

     Thank you once again Lisana and Vicky and Janet for teaching us what you know.  I am here to learn and I promise you I do not go away empty handed.  Every time we have class I learn a whole lot.

 Glam Dreams fashion show

     I was so fortunate to attend the fashion show Of Glam Dreams on Saturday 15 June 2013 when the most resent designs was modeled.

     Ms Sandytpr Lysette, designer and CEO of Glam Dreams has a wonderful collection of casual and formal wear.    She is one of the best designers in SL.

Swimwear

     CWS models are dedicated models who take their work very seriously. 

This was evident while I watched them do their modeling of this new and awesome range done by Ms Sandytpr Lysette.

     SWIM WEAR COLLECTION in red, Zebra and bronze is a gorgeous set with its deep plunge and molded push up cups which gives an amazing lift and support, while the bold strappy design will elongate and enhance your beautiful curves. Ties around the neck and in the back. Thong style bottom coverage.

It is also available in lines, black and try-toned.

   The rest of the collection included marvelous mesh sets with their skirt in high - low hemlines. Topped by  lovely  sheer chiffon spaghetti straps tops featuring a hounds-tooth or multicolored summer prints and a high-low hemline or a  chic French white and black chevron print with over the elbow sleeves and turtle neck.

More wonderfully tailored dresses, pantsuits and summer dresses were shown and then it was time for the long and elegant evening wear.

     These mermaid shaped gowns in mesh, your best choice of showing off fabulous curves.  Wonderful and romantic and awesome for that special night out at some ballroom dancing under the stars with someone very special.

    The show stopper was  a beautiful mermaid shaped gown with a strapless straight neckline . Long over the elbow gloves ,  a gorgeous collar necklace with flowers and a  matching shawl  attached at back flower collar  with flying detail.  The color deep-red really enhanced the feeling of romance.  I thought to myself ..this dress is definitely a must have.

   Thank you ms Sandytpr Lysette for these really beautiful creations that will be every girl's dream.  When wearing them they certainly  will cause a stir where ever they go.

     Also thank you for CWS models for  modeling them with such flair.  You all looked so wonderful and my wish is to be one of those models modeling the designer outfits showcased at CWS.   

     Who said girls can't dream and who said dreams will not come true? ... SMILES ... they can and certainly did for all these beautiful models.  YOU WERE AWESOME!

STYLING EVENT

My first styling event.  Wow..I was so nervous.  At one stage I felt like running away and go hide somewhere.

We all dressed according to the  theme and even though very green, 
I did not do too bad, it also gave me confidence which I had none of ... smiles.      Congratulations to the winners ... you deserved to win.

I invited a friend and we attended a Styling event at Classic with Style, Dome stage
5pm SL time.

The Theme: "Bright Graffiti"

All 3 girls that competed in the  Styling event looked wonderful.

A Second Life hick-up made us all crash in the middle of the event ..but we all came back.

Congratulations to the Winner, ms Lil2imp Resident who won the event.

The other two ladies was looking awesome as well.

LadySunFire Erin was second and Terri Olivieri came third. Congrats ladies.
